墾丁 - Kenting "hotel"
We stayed at this fantastic place in Kending ( http://kenting.cyh.org.tw/ )
It's used as a teaching place for school groups to learn about traditional Taiwanese architecture. The various styles of homes are accurately recreated and set up as hotel rooms for groups and for regular guests when there is space.
There is a great view from the back of the buildings but no beach. There rocks are painfully sharp.
They have lots of info around the site to educate about the building styles and such.
