Where we stayed - the Ice House apartments

Our friend Michelle Tsai lives in Hong Kong 4 month every year (she teaches jewelry design at G.I.A.)Michelle got us a room at the Ice House for just $100 US/ night.

We were next door to the Foreign Correspondent's Club.
Excellent view and we were walking distance to old town, the Peak Tram, and the ritzy new financial district.

When they remodel buildings the scaffolding is made with bamboo and covered with a fabric. This one is 18 floors but we saw some going up about 35 floors with bamboo.
